Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote enjoyment of language learning and understanding of different perspectives, cultures, and practices. We intend to nurture our students with virtue, knowledge and the skills to become a global leader. Through our program, students will gain great global vision and sensitivity to foreign cultures, in addition to enhanced national critical language competency, comprehension of cultural perspectives and values, and a lifelong interest in learning critical languages such as Chinese.
Our organization implements this mission through close collaboration between Chinese heritage language schools and school districts to provide college approved curricula to school districts and to establish top-quality Chinese language courses either during the regular semester after school as extracurricular programs or during the summer as summer immersion programs.
In addition, our organization executes this mission through partnering with academic consultants, educational institutions, and well-established organizations (e.g., the College Board) to provide language teacher training workshops and professional development training for teachers of heritage language schools to become qualified teachers in district K-12 schools. |
